James Gordon Jennings - artist
Jim is a native of Coronado, California, and from the time of his birth has never stopped traveling. He has lived on and extensively toured every continent except Antarctica, and considers himself a true global citizen. Jim, an alumni of Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, is a retired US Navy Captain where he served as a pilot and analyst. In addition to his Navy career, Jim has also worked as an actor, writer, museum director and curator, history teacher, airline pilot, corporate executive, furniture mover, a factory assembly line worker, and, as a cook. Drawing on his numerous experiences living in vastly different cultures, as well as the widely disparate viewpoints found within his various work environments, Jim has nurtured his lifelong passion for art, and is creating, through his painting, expressions of the world he has come to know and love. Additionally, Jim is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA), and has worked in numerous movies, television shows and commercials, and, just as with his artistic creations, he finds great satisfaction in continuing his on-screen career.
Jim currently resides in Puerto Rico with his wife, Ana, and their dog, Coco.
